My work is fired outdoors in a kiln I converted from a galvanised steel dustbin.

A rapid process, glowing hot pieces are lifted from the kiln using tongs and placed in natural combustible material,

covered and allowed to smoke producing beautiful colours, lustres and patterns.

After rapidly cooling in water a delicate glaze-crazing can occur.

Using this process every piece I create is unique.
