A cosy rustic hideaway cottage for a relaxing rural retreat.
A quaint converted coach house offering simple, characterful self-catering accommodation for 2/4 people on a 17th Century working family smallholding and pottery in beautiful farmland.
Adjacent to the Llangollen Canal in the heart of historic Wrenbury Village; close to all local attractions.
The cottage is charming but compact ; more suited to two adults sharing - there is one bedroom upstairs providing two single beds but a double sofa-bed in the open-plan sitting room offers extra sleeping arrangements for two more people; however this may feel a little too cosy for some.
*Please note that the rooms upstairs are reached by a rustic winding wooden staircase which may prove unsuitable for very small children and challenging for people with mobility issues.
Camping
At present we can only offer camping to guests associated with our cottage letting for responsible low-impact rough camping on our fields.
This would suit additional adults with tents or a small motorhome who are happy to share with the cottage-dwellers the cottage's compact bathroom and kitchen facilites.
We currently have no extra facilities to cater for independant campers.
Please confirm numbers of additional campers when making initial enquiry.

Galleried landing. Bedroom with two single beds. Compact bathroom with wash-basin, bath with shower over and lavatory.

Seating in the shared smallholding courtyard. Open access across our farmland.

Rates for Winter 2011/12
Based on two people sharing;

One bag of logs supplied free of charge.
All bedding is provided but we ask that guests bring their own towels.
We regret we cannot welcome dogs because of the free-range habits of our livestock.
